Expert Guides Our experienced guiding team are the backbone of your safari experience and are some of the most accomplished in Botswana. All of our guides are highly trained in animal behaviour and first aid, ensuring that you are in capable hands at all times. Having all grown up in the Delta, they know the region intimately and are always prepared to handle any situation with skill and confidence.
Wildlife Safety We are fortunate to operate in areas with abundant wildlife, but we understand that safety around animals is a top priority. Our guides will provide clear instructions on how to behave during game drives and walks to ensure that you remain safe at all times. Whether observing elephants, lions, or other big game, you will always be in a secure position, either inside the vehicle, on foot or in camp, as directed by our guides.
Health and First Aid Your health and safety are our concern. All of our guides are certified in wilderness first aid, and our vehicles are equipped with comprehensive first aid kits. In the unlikely event of an emergency, we maintain communication with nearby medical facilities and have evacuation procedures in place to ensure swift assistance if necessary. All guests will have complimentary patronage and membership to Okavango Air Rescue ensuring that rapid evacuation is feasible in remote areas.
Campsite Safety We take extra care when selecting and setting up our mobile campsites. Each tent is placed in a safe location, with the potential for wildlife encounters carefully considered. Our camp staff monitor the surroundings at all times, and guests receive a thorough briefing on campsite safety. When staying overnight in the bush, you can rest easy knowing that we are vigilant about your safety.
Water and Hydration Given Botswana’s often extreme temperatures, staying hydrated is essential. We provide ample clean drinking water throughout your safari and remind guests to drink regularly, especially during long activities like game drives and walking safaris. Our guides will always ensure that you are well taken care of when it comes to hydration.
